White Witch of Narnia

The evil witch has enchanted the land, and buried Narnia under a perpetual blanket of snow.

One of the very first heads I ever sculpted. I was inspired by a magazine article on Van Craig's dolls. The final doll was made up in May 1990.

Media: Head and hands of Super Sculpey, on a wire armature with a cloth body. Painted turquoise eyes, human hair. White gown with machine embroidered icicles along edge. Bodice is heavily embroidered and beaded. Her coat is silver-white with lace, tulle, and tinsel icicles. Her headpiece is of tinsel and beads.
