Fairy Branch
Individual fairies were made as characters in our photo story "The White Cat". When they were no longer needed for photography, they were attached to this floral base, and additional fairies were made to complete the piece.

Media: Fairies are a total body sculpt of Super Sculpey on a wire armature. Painted eyes, assorted coloured mohair. Clothes are hand-sewn from silk and fabric flower petals. Wings are tricot on a wire frame. The fairies are displayed on a piece of driftwood embellished with fabric flowers, feather butterflies, and tiny handmade bugs.
